THOUGHTS….

So I was settling into my reading time in the morning and as I began with Psalm 68 – a song of David.  It begins….  “May His enemies be scattered.”   

It jumped off the page at me and I let my thoughts wonder.  Why does God have enemies?  What has He done to deserve that?  God is a good God and anything He has ever done has been for our good and betterment.  And He gave us His best and most costliest gift – His Son.  

My mind went to the scripture in Matthew 13:27,28  “ So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’

Joshua Generation – Poem

There is a Joshua generation

Awaiting their time to shine

God has put them into deep preparation

For in darkness arises their time

As scripture says and says it well

Darkness will cover the earth

It is in that time – they’ll rise and shine

And many will come to New Birth

Many of the “Moses’ – leaders God made

Have already departed this place

For you they have left God’s truth and Ways

And pointed the way to His Face

The first will be last and the last will be first

It will not be easy for you

But if you are here, suffice it to say, 

The crowns you will earn have great worth

So keep going my friend

The pain will be deep

But joy comes at its end

God will be there every step of the way

As your Lord, your Savior, your Friend

It is important to see things through the eyes of God, which can totally be found in the scripture if we read it for ourselves and ask His help to understand it.  Everything happening today was foretold by God.  Thousands of years in advance.  Because “ He knows the end from the beginning.”  He dwells outside of time.  That’s why it is so foolish for man to seek “mediums” and horoscopes and such to find “wisdom”  when God is Wisdom Himself.  He made everything and knows what it’s purpose is, and when it will come to an end.

The beauty is – that He has offered us through accepting what Jesus Christ did on the cross and accepting Him as our Lord – we are offered the promise of living in His kingdom – forever – where there are no more tears, pain…

WE ARE THE GENERATION THAT WILL SEE ALL THESE THINGS

^{Luke 21:29-36     “}He told them this parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees.  When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near.  Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near.

 “Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.  Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

 “Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap.  For it will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth.  Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”

Jesus Christ is waiting for you to walk with you and indeed come into your heart to help not only navigate you through the end times – but have a beautiful relationship with Him , your Creator.  Ask Him to be your Lord today.

John 3:16   For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life!

Talk to Him today – He has been waiting for you to call on Him your whole life.  What He has for you is good.  He will help you to thrive – not just survive!  Jesus really is the answer.  And He is good!
