THE DEALINGS OF GOD ARE IN FULL SWING

March 30, 2018

The problem is people don’t believe or are blind to the moving and dealings of God. They don’t really know Him. They have never read the whole Bible and skip much of the Old Testament. God has not changed. His covenant is a new and better covenant with man through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ (Jeremiah 31:31, Hebrews 8:6) But He is still the same God and feels the same about sin and wickedness and He will not tolerate it in heaven. Therefore those who do not accept what Christ has done and turn from their wicked ways as much as possible, are in for a surprise. Not a good one.

When families used to work like they should, people grew up knowing discipline and consequences. Those have greatly disappeared in this age of deception and lawlessness. Paul foretold this in 2 Timothy 3. Exactly what this last generation would look like and how we would know we are close to the end of the age.

We had a solar eclipse recently that moved all the way across the United states and served as a warning, “sun darkened”, but people think that if something doesn’t happen immediately that it was invalid as a sign. Satan has done a great job at shortening the attention span of this generation and driving their thoughts the way he wants it through media. Only 4 days after the eclipse, Houston was destroyed by Hurricane Harvey. Home of one of the largest megachurches in America, and one that I might add refuses to preach on hell, repentance, and some of the more weightier things in the Bible. God said judgement will begin in the house of the Lord and He is not done. Though we may not see it, it is in full swing.

I have had two visions/dreams concerning the lukewarm church. One was a church in a community I used to live in and I knew their leadership to be carnal and chasing after natural success. I have known them for 20 years and they never changed, only worked hard to grow in numbers with success being a heart goal. I knew them personally, so I could say this, though I had moved away years ago and had not thought about them for a long time.

In the vision the Lord showed me, I saw a very large angel. Maybe 15 feet tall or more. He had a large red pen in his hand and he walked up to the church (that I recognized) and marked an X across the door with the word “Destroy” across the top. God had given him this assignment. As I looked I began to pray and say Lord, can’t they change now? Does this have to happen? He answered clearly. “The Pastor and his wife will be saved. But all they have done will be burned up.”

1 Corinthians 3: 10-15 “But let each one take heed how he builds on it. For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw,  each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is.  If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward.  If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.”

Sobering isn’t it! The sad thing is that they think they are just fine. They do not see things from God’s perspective. I’m sure they consider themselves successful.

The second message the Lord gave me was a dream. There was a large elevator full of people and I was standing on top of the elevator, but not in it. All of a sudden the ground opened up and it began to fall down into this large hole. I jumped with supernatural help and grabbed the wall, climbing to the surface again. I looked down and the elevator was stuck, hanging over a hot river of lava beneath it. It was obvious it was going to burn. Then there were two fireman. One was suiting up and planning to go down. His partner was saying to him, it’s too late, it’s a suicide mission and the man knew this was true. It was gut wrenching and sad to see as it began to heat up and glow with the heat.

I asked the Lord what this meant. He said the elevator represented the church that had used His name to climb to the top of society by worldly success. Their God was success and Jesus was not Lord of the people that had itching ears. The time had come for judgement to begin in the house of the Lord and certain ones had been marked for destruction as indicated in a the previous vision.

Now I know better than to put a timetable on this. I don’t know, but I read one prophesy entitled “Time is up , for those who are corrupt.” That seemed to be accurate. He was speaking of politicians and the business world, but I believe it includes the corruption in the church too. We must remember that God see’s things differently than we do. Corruption to Him may look different from His perspective because He sees everything. Let me refer you to Ezekiel 8:12 “ Then He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the room of his idols? For they say, ‘The Lord does not see us, the Lord has forsaken the land.’”

But the truth then and now is that God sees everything and though He has been long-suffering and patient, He will deal justly with it all.

Now there will be those of us that do walk in the fear of the Lord, do see, and don’t go along with what is going on in the churches or with any other kind of corruption. Look how the Lord dealt with that in the following verse. God is always just.

Ezekiel 9:3-4 “And He called to the man clothed with linen, who had the writer’s inkhorn at his side;  and the Lord said to him, “Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it.”

When we sigh and cry and pray over the corruption we see. God notices this and we are marked. And though we will be affected by what takes place. We will be protected.

God spent many years teaching me these things. Taking me up close and personal with many Pastors that either fell or were removed from ministry by God. The Lord showed me beforehand what their sin was, and I spent much time in prayer over it. That is why it hurt so much when they fell.

One for instance, God told me, “This Pastor is in idolatry. His idols are numbers and success” A few years later he left the ministry in disgrace after having an affair with his secretary. He was actually sleeping with her in his church office on the couch, and God still gave him two years to repent before exposing him and making him lose everything. He had no fear of the Lord and could not see that he was in idolatry. But God sees all.

Now a difference between the New Covenant and the Old is that we can turn and repent, calling on the name of Jesus. God’s purposes are always redemptive, even when He brings chastisement and exposure. He wants His children to repent and return to Him. Read Revelation chapters 2 and 3. This clearly reveals how God deals with His churches then and now.

Well, I will end by saying, hold on to your hat. And get right with God for yourself. Pray for those who you see in error and if God opens the opportunity for you to speak to them, I pray you will. Warning is love when done from a right heart. No one wins when a Pastor falls. No one wins when churches go into error. Only the cleansing fire of God’s power will make things right. And the Word tells us that He is a Consuming Fire. What does He consume? All that is not of Him. All unrighteousness. But we can take heart because if we judge ourselves we will not be judged.

1 Corinthians 11:31-32  “For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.”
It is easy to stay out of the line of fire. Stay in Him! Psalm 91 We must dwell in the secret place of the Most High.

Blessings and Shalom,
