SHARING MY HEART – ARE YOU PREPARED?

SHARING MY HEART

Good morning! This is something I feel compelled to write, so I pray you will read until the end and just ponder and pray about it. God has put such a deep concern in my heart for everyone to be ready, walking with God and to be safe in the days to come. Not to scare but to prepare.

So consider this question. What if there was a pole shift let’s say tomorrow or next week (or something unexpected), would you be ready? I’ll explain what that entails in a bit. But would you be ready - not prepped in the natural, but prepared in your spirit and soul? It’s so important for us all to take inventory of ourselves. Is there unforgiveness towards anyone? Bitterness in your heart? Truthfully disappointed in God and haven’t had an honest conversation with Him about it - about how life has turned out? Feeling hatred towards anyone or any group of people? Broken fellowship with someone that you could do something about and haven’t? All of us have something if we are honest with ourselves. Most likely God has been tugging at these areas, but the noise of the world sometimes drowns it out, it’s okay, it’s that way for us all. God loves us and keeps pursuing us to deal with the things we wish to ignore because He loves us that much.

So in this hypothetical (but possible) situation, a pole shift, the north and south poles switch places and suddenly a flash freeze could occur bringing instant death in parts of the earth. Most of you have heard of the woolly mammoth archeologist found that was frozen with fresh green leaves in its mouth and stomach. (you can look that one up because it is fact). If you’ve seen the movie “Day After Tomorrow” the situation is a simulation of what could happen.

Anyway - my point is not the how - but that you would allow God to bring you and keep you in a state of readiness of heart. Whether through death or if some of us live until the rapture - either way - We are repeatedly told in the scriptures to stay in a place of readiness at all times.

I’m afraid our culture - even church culture - is too caught up in other pursuits that have little to do with God and His kingdom, even though it has the appearance of it. It’s easy to do! That’s the whole of Satan’s job is to get our eyes off Jesus, deceive us into thinking everything is fine, and implant these dark things in our soul that don’t belong there. BUT the good news is that Jesus has paved the way with His blood and promised to help us get that mess out of us and be ready for His coming or our departure from earth which ever comes first.
But my friends we must be diligent and understand that when He said “be prepared” He meant it. ("Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” Luke 12:40)

Jesus is coming for a bride that has been made ready for Him and by Him.

Ephesians 5:27 “…that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.”

(patience please from them that know this, some have never had this explained to them)

1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness” He has done the heavy lifting - but notice that we must participate in confessing our sins and allowing Him to take us through the process of ridding us (cleansing us) from the sin that we confess. Some have erroneously taught that it is okay to say “I’m sorry” and not pursue God to be free from the sin that keeps plaguing us. The power of grace is to help us to walk away from it and I’m so concerned that many have not been taught this. It is a beautiful journey that He takes you on, one that brings you close to Him and fulfills you and frees you in a way nothing else will.
Repentance means to turn away from. Romans 6:1,2 says,…  What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?  Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?”

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 “ Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,  nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.  And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.”

So having the gift of God in Jesus Christ, why would we continue in these things? Don’t misunderstand, if your heart is in a posture of hating something that you are trapped in, addicted to…. God knows this and doesn’t expect you to get free on your own. You are never alone and God is for you and not against you. But to be a confessing Christian and not care if you are committing sin or are not even bothered by it….. that is a dangerous place to be and it is quite possible that you were never truly “born again” according to scriptures. Or to be in a place where we have seared our consciences - which Jesus can help you with if you ask Him. It is easy to live in a culture and even go to church - but secretly in your heart - never surrender to Jesus as your Lord. If Jesus is your Lord - you will have a desire to obey Him even if you fail and fail often. If He is not - you may fall into the category of the “sons of disobedience” that are cast into outer darkness. Please don’t take a chance with eternity. Make sure. God is for you and all it takes is a sincere prayer and change of heart and direction - which He empowers you to do if you are serious. Trust me in the forty years I’ve walked with Jesus - I’ve screwed up royally many times…..but I could not stay in a place of known sin! My conscience would not allow this. We should all be familiar with the word and concept of repentance and it is not taught as much as it should be. What did Jesus come preaching? Matthew 4:17
From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” His message has not changed.

Okay, for the good part…….We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and salvation is just a heart cry away. AND We ALL have the distinct honor of having been chosen to be alive at the end of the age. It’s an honor that you are here….you could have been born in the dark ages, but you weren’t. You are destined to be here now. But you need to be awake to how one is to walk successfully in this time. Why? Because the spiritual warfare, deception, and turmoil is the greatest that it has ever been and ever will be. (Matthew 24) And Jesus has great rewards if we endure until the end.

Romans 8:21-23
“…because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.  For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.  Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.”
How awesome is it that we will get new bodies? Many know this but what a revelation and joy for those that have never heard this. We will still be us….just housed in a new body that is incorruptible.
And notice in the above scripture the use of the word “birth pangs” to describe what will be going on in the earth until He returns. A woman in labor is the metaphor…..what happens? The contractions start and get stronger and closer together until that baby is born. (yes there has been many braxton hicks, but look at it now - all over the earth - globally things are happening - not just here and there) You have to admit that things are moving at an accelerated pace if you keep up with things.

There is so much more……but I will wait until another article. This is enough for today. If you are a Christian - don’t think it a strange thing if God is dealing with you to make things right in your own heart. This may be as simple as asking for forgiveness or giving forgiveness to someone that has hurt or wronged you. This frees YOU. It doesn’t excuse what was done and that is for God to deal with. (Romans 12:19
Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.) We need to stay out of God’s business and let Him deal with His own. This keeps our hearts free from hate and bitterness which does not belong inside of us.

Also be aware to pray for those that God brings to mind. We need each other. Recently, God brought someone and put them in a dream that had been off my radar for many years and I haven’t prayed for them in a long time. Watch for God to bring people to your mind in various ways and understand your prayers are so vital and God appreciates the obedience to pray for them.

Okay, I’ll stop. I pray this has helped someone. I may get criticized for this….but so be it and I have peace that I have done what the Lord asked of me. Jesus loves you with all that He is. You are the apple of His eye. I pray you will give Him even more of yourself and that a greater understanding of His word will unfold to us all! Again, it is an honor to be here. Lord help us win the lost!!! Pray for all the people we know!!! We do not know the day or the hour of His return. It is wise to just stay ready! Amen!! And love you all!
